Electronic Know Your Customer popularly known as eKYC is a compliance procedure allowing you to complete the KYC procedure online.
The procedure is simplified by providing bank account number, PAN details, Aadhaar number.
KYC is mandatory irrespective of the investment amount. A one-time verification is all that is needed for transactions across all mutual funds.
The main aim of e-KYC is to reduce turnaround time and paper work.
What are the documents required for e-KYC?
The list of documents required to be scanned and uploaded for completing the E-KYC compliance process are as follows:
- Online Application Form
- Documents showing proof of identity (PAN Card) and proof of address
- Recent Photograph

Next page enter the eKYC details
Step 1: Enter all personal details and bank information
Step 2: Download pre filled form in PDF format
Affix the photograph and upload self attested copy of PAN and address proof.
Step 3: Schedule a Video call with the customer care and complete IPV(In-Person Verification process).
After completion of video call, payment link will be sent to your registered Mail ID and Mobile number.
Now you can start investing by clicking on the payment link.
Make sure you sent the physical coy of your pre-filled and signed KYC application form to Reliance AMC.
The company will share your details with KRA. Once your KYC is validated by KRA, you will receive the confirmation via email / letter.
Note that if there is non-compliance with KYC it may lead to rejection of purchases, SIP registrations or SIP renewals.
