Earlier, individuals were finding it difficult to maintain a post office account due to unavailability of internet banking where all the transactions were done manually.
Department of Posts recently launched the mobile banking application. Now you can undertake office transaction on the go. Post office customers can do banking from anywhere and anytime using your mobile device.
Note that Department of Post will never ask you to provide your MPIN, Transaction Password, User ID and OTP (One Time Password).
How to Activate Post Office Mobile Banking Application?
Step 1: Download the Mobile Banking Application from Google Play store. Make sure you download the right app.
Once the app is opened, click on Activate Mobile Banking button.
Step 2: Enter the Security Credentials which you have provided with Department of Post.
There is no Charges for OTP (One Time Password) message. Activation OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Enter the OTP on the screen to proceed further.
Step 3: Once your activation is successfully validated you will be asked to enter 4 digit MPIN.
Once your enter 4 digit MPIN of your choice and you will be activated for Mobile Banking Application.
Step 4: For login into Mobile Banking application, please enter your User Id and the new MPIN.
