The plant of the company is located at Cheruvukommupalem Village, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh. The unit is eligible for State Subsidy, Sales Tax deferment and subsidized power tariff as the unit is being located in a backward area. The main business of the company is to manufacture and sell pesticides, which are fully set out in the Memorandum and Articles of Association and are also mentioned below in the prospectus.

M/S Bhagiradha Chemicals and Industries Limited, proposes to set up a project for the manufacture of 300 tons per annum of pesticide, namely, technical grade Chlorpyriphos, for a total outlay of Rs. 1000 Lakhs. The plant has been commissioned and trial runs are in progress.

-Company has recommended dividend of Re. 1/- per equity of Rs. 10 each (i.e. 10%).

-The company issued rights shares of Rs. 10 in the ratio of 4:17 at a premium of Rs. 390 per share.
