YEAR EVENTS
1980 - The Company was incorporated on 3rd September, as a private
Limited Company under the name and style of B. K. Paper Mills
Private Limited to carry on the business as manufacturers and
dealers of all kinds and classes of paper, board, pulp and allied
products.

1994 - The Company was converted into a public limited company on 30th
March. It was engaged in the business of manufacture and trading
in duplex board and grey board.

- The Company was promoted by Bhupinder Singh, Kulbir Singh and
Smt. Harbans Kaur.

- The Company converted the machine to manufacture grey board and
increased the capacity of the plant to 10 TPD. The Company added
another machine of 10 TPD for manufacture of white duplex board.

1995 - The Company came out with its Maiden Public Issue of 13,88,900
No. of quity Shares of Rs. 10/- each for Cash at Par aggregating
Rs. 138.89 Lacs to part finance its expansion programme with
better & Modern equipment for quality up gradation and to augment
the Margin Money for working Capital requirements.

1996 - The company proposes to enter into steel business by implementing
Steel Rolling Mills/Induction Furnace at Village Gaunspur, Distt.
Ludhiana.

- 33,12,720 No. of equity shares issued, subscribed and paid-up.
22,20,000 No. of equity shares of Rs 10 each were issued at par
through a prospectus in January 1995 of which 8,31,100 shares
were reserved and allotted to promoters, Indian resident
directors etc. Balance 13,88,900 shares issued to the public.
Additional 300 shares allotted to retain oversubscription.

1997 - The Company undertook to expand the existing capacity from 7500
tpa to 12000 tpa and also to carry out technology upgradation and
modernisation in its existing unit to manufacture coated board
and white duplex board by putting up balancing equipments.

2000
-The Company has expand the manufacturing capacity from 40 TPD to 90 TPD by adding new machine at unit No. II for the manufacture of Coated Duplex Board at Village Gaunspur,
Ludhiana.
