Chromatic India Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

Chromatic Dyestuff Limited (CDL), was incorporated on 21st August 1987 as a private limited company. The promoters being Shri K.R.Kamat, Shri A.W.Palekar, Shri M.S.Vartak and Shri S.K.Sengupta all qualified technocrats having experience in the Chemical and Dyestuff Industry. The Company commenced commercial production of Turquoise Blue G & H5G in May '88 and thereafter expanded into Chormozol Yellow, Violet, Black & Red dyes. At present the Company's plant located on a 6500 SQM land in Lote-Parshuram Industrial Area in Khed Taluka, Ratnagiri district on Bombay - Goa route. The plant has an installed capacity to manufacture dyestuff 350 MT per annum.

The company is a reputed dyestuff manufacturer and specialises in the manufacture of Reactive Dyes based on Vinyl sulphone and Cyanuric Chloride. These bright colours are suitable for cotton, viscose, polynosic and other cellulosic fabrics. These products have been well received in the international market with 90% of the Company's production being exported.

Recently, the company has also succeeded in manufacturing bi-functional reactive dyes by attaining 150% concentration. From the very beginning, the Company has focused its attention to the export market and hence the company has strived to maintain the quality of its products and also standardise its product range to facilitate marketability.

In order to enhance its production efficiency and to maintain quality excellence the Company has set up a well equipped Technical Services Center using the latest Mcbeth 7000 spectrophotometer. It has also acquired and implemented selective reverse osmosis technology for manufacture of salt free dyes, which earn better margins.

The Company has embarked on standardisation of procedures for attaining IWO 9002 certification. The pre-audit for the same has been completed and the recommendations or the same are being acted on. The Company is confident of receiving the ISO 9002 certification shortly.

This has not only helped the Company to churn out better quality dyes but also create a niche market for itself in the international arena.

2008

-Chromatic India Ltd has appointed Mr. Nitin Sethi as an Additional Director of the Company at the meeting held on February 06, 2008.

2009

- Chromatic India Ltd has has appointed Mr. Vinod Kaushik as Whole Time Director of the Company instead of Executive Director in their meeting held on April 01, 2009.

- Chromatic India Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 01, 2009, has appointed Mr. Vinod Kaushik as Executive Director of the Company.

- Chromatic India Ltd has appointed Mr. Vipin Sharma as Additional Director of the Company with effect from September 07, 2009.

2010

-Chromatic India has given the Bonus in the Ratio of 5:2

2012

- The Company has got licence for inter - state trading in Electricity from Central Electricity Regulatory Commission.

- Has declared the interim dividend of Rs. 0.05/- per equity share of the Company.

2013
-The company appointed Mr. Chirag Shah as Additional and Non Executive Director of the Company.
- The company appointed Ms. Nidhi Aneesh Nair as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the Company.
-The company recommended Dividend at the rate of Rs. 0.02/- per equity shares of the Company.

2014
-The company appointed Ms. Diana Joshi as Additional Non-executive and

Independent Director of the Company.
-The company appointed Mr. Vinod Kumar Kaushik as Whole Time Director of the Company.
-The company appointed Mr. Harmeet Singh as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer of the Company.
