K S Oils Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

The company was incorporated as a private limited company on 4th December, 1985 in Madhya Pradesh. The company became a deemed public limited company from 1st July, 1990 and was converted into a public limited company on 8th February, 1993. The main object of the company is manufacturing and dealing in oils, vegetable oils and fats, products of plantation, soaps and allied products. The company has been promoted by Omprakash Garg, Mohanlal Garg, Govind Garg, Gopaldas Garg and Ramesh Garg. The Company commenced its operation in July 1986 with a refinery having a processing capacity of 17100 Metric Tonnes per annum. In 1990, it set up an oil mill for extraction of 12960 Metric Tonnes of oil per annum and also a tin plant to manufacture 900000 tins or 450 Metric Tonnes per annum. In March 1992, refinery capacity was expanded to 43200 Metric Tonnes per annum. The company has now embarked upon a expansion project which involves setting up solvent extraction plant with an annual capacity of 43,200 Metric Tonnes per annum of solvent extracted oil and 1,33,200 Metric Tonnes of deoiled cake with specialised facilities.

2006

-KS Oils Ltd has has appointed Mr. Sanjay Agarwal, as Managing Director w.e.f. November 25, 2006. Mr. G P Garg, has ceased to be the Managing Director.

-K S Oils has given the Bonus in the Ratio of 1:1

2007

-KS Oils Ltd has entered into a Joint Venture in Malaysia with a stake of 49% for the purpose of investments / acquisitions of Palm Plantations and / or manufacture of crude palm oil.

- The Company has splits its face value from Rs10/- to Rs1/-.

2009

- K S Oils Limited has appointed two additional directors namely Dr. Jaipal Singh and Mr. R K Nagar. Dr Jaipal Singh was appointed in place of Mr R.P. Aneja.

2010

-"Sourabh Garg appointed Vice-Chairman of K S Oils Ltd".

2011

-Mr. Ritesh Jain appointed as a Company Secretary of the company.

2012

-KS Oils - Intimation for the approval of the CDR Package
