Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

The Company was incorporated on July 1, 2008 in Ludhiana, Punjab, India under the Companies Act 1956 as a public limited company, under the name ÂMonte Carlo Fashions LimitedÂ with the RoC. The Company received its certificate for commencement of business on July 28, 2008.
The Company was incorporated as a subsidiary of OWML. Subsequently, pursuant to the scheme of arrangement and demerger with OWML as approved by the Punjab and Haryana High Court, through an order dated May 20, 2011, the business carried out by OWML, comprising the processes of manufacturing, buying, selling, and dealing in knitted and hosiery garments, woollen garments, cotton garments, franchisee network and other businesses were transferred from OWML to the Company, with effect from April 1, 2011 and the Company ceased to be a subsidiary of OWML.

2012 - Private equity investment by Samara Capital Partners Fund I Limited, through its subsidiary KIL, in the Company

2013 - Forayed into kids wear segment with the introduction of the apparel range ÂTweensÂ, in the menÂs premium wear segment with the introduction of the apparel range ÂPlatineÂ and in the menÂs economy wear segment with the introduction of the apparel

- Expanded our manufacturing facility pursuant to the commencement of operations at our new manufacturing facility situated at G.T. Road, Sherpur, Ludhiana
2014 - In-house manufacture of cotton apparel at our old manufacturing facility situated at G.T. Road, Sherpur, Ludhiana.

Awards, Certifications and Recognitions :

2011 - ISO 9001:2008 issued by Det Norske Veritas for design, manufacture and supply of knitted garments for our facility situated at 231, Industrial Area A, Ludhiana, for the period November 8, 2011 to October 30, 2014
2012 - Recognized as a ÂSuperbrandÂ for woollen knitted apparel in each edition of Consumer Superbrands India
2013 - ÂWoolmarkÂ issued by the Woolmark Company for use on accessories (glovers, hats, ties, scarves, shawls) and knitted garments (stocks, stockings, tights, sweater, cardigans, waistcoat, underwear) for the period July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014.
