Doogar & Associates Limited (D & A) was orignially incorporated as Green Dot Consultants Private Limited under the Companies Act, 1956, on 23rd October, 1986. The name of the Company was subsequently changed to Doogar & Associates Private Limited on 11th March, 1991. The Company was converted into a Public Limited Company on 4th May, 1992. The company is head quartered at New Delhi and has a branch office at Ahmedabad and a representative office at Bombay.

The Company undertook Merchant Banking Activiies under Category III, from 29th May, 1991.

With effect from 1st June, 1993, the Company became a Category I Merchant Banker.

Since 29th May, 1991, the Company has undertaken mainly merchant banking activities in the capacity of Advisors to public/rights issues. In 1992-93 alone, the Company was associated with 18 public/rights issues in the capacity of Advisors and the company has got the distinction of being ranked a No.1 amongst all the merchant bankers in terms of the number of public issues handled as Advisors. The Company has been offering personalised service to its corporate clients in financial matters. Being a Category I Merchant Banker w.e.f. 1st June, 1993, the Company now would be able to act as Lead Managers to the Issues.

The project consultancy services being offered by the Company include preparation of project feasibility reports, techno-economic reports, preparation of loan applications, selection of institutions and banks, assistance in appraisal, sanctions and disbursement of loans and all other assistance incidental to setting up of projects.

Doogar & Assosciates has been promoted by Mr. M.K.Doogar, a Chartered Accountant, who is in the profession since 1976

2000
- The Company has decided to issue 60,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each to persons/entites belonging to new promoters' group i.e., Goyal Group headed by Mr. S.C. Goyal on preferential allotment basis.

2002
-The Company has acquired the 1.13 MW windfarm, located in Tamil Nadu.

2004
-The Company has changed its name from Doogar Associates Limited to Morgan Ventures Limited.

2005
-The Company recommended payment of 10% dividend.

2006
-The Company recommended dividend at a rate of 10% per equity Shares.
-Mr. Ramesh Kumar has been appointed as an Additional Director of the Company.

2009
-The Company has acquired 99% equity stake in Sudama Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a Company having registered office at Indore engaged in contract farming of Jatropha plants in 500 hectare (1250 acres) wastelands owned by farmers in different villages in the State of Madhya Pradesh.
- Morgan Ventures Ltd appointed Mr. Radha Krishna Pandey as Additional Director of the Company.

2015
-Morgan Ventures Ltd Arbitration Award in favour of Company.
