NEOGEM INDIA LIMITED was incorporated on 25th September, 1991 as a Public Limited Company and obtained a Certificate of Commencement of business on 9th December, 1991. The Company took over the business of the partnership firm, M/s. Neogem India, along with all its assets and liabilities with effect from 28th March, 1992, including its processing facility for cut and polished diamonds at Bhavnagar, Gujarat for a total consideration of Rs.7,44,776/- vide an agreement dated 28th March, 1992 in that behalf. There is no pending litigation against the Bhavnagar unit which has been taken over by the Company. A modern factory for diamond cutting and polishing was set up in a readymade shed acquired from GIDC and the unit was registered with Directorate of Industries as a Unit.

M/s. Neogem India had earlier applied for a licence for the manufacture of plain gold jewellery and studded gold jewellery at SEEPZ, Bombay and were issued a Letter of Intent in this behalf in February 1991, which project is being currently actively implemented by the Company. The Company's Bhavnagar unit is already in commercial production and its Products are being exported to various countries like Belgaum, Hongkong and Singapore.B

-Neogem India Ltd has informed that the Company is delisted from the Ahmedabad Stock Exchange Ltd (ASE) with effect from June 26, 2008.
