1994 - The company was incorporated on 1st June, under the Companies Act
1956 for the purpose of setting up fully automated and integrated
manufacturing facilities for processing raw silver and gold into
value added jewellery items.

- The certificate for commencement of business was obtained by the
company on 23rd June.

2000

- The Company has signed an agreement with M/s. PA.DR of Italy on
10th April.

2002

-Silver Smith India Ltd has informed that Ms Sidhi Narula has resigned from the Board of Directors with effect from October 25, 2002.The company is also interested in having strategic alliance either with Indian or Foreigner Partner. Board of Directors has authorised Mr B K Narula, Managing Director to look for strategic partner in India or in Foreign.

2003

-Members approved delisting of its share from Delhi Stock Exchange

2004

-delist from Delhi Stock Exchange w.e.f. October 13, 2004.

--Registered Office of the Company has been shifted rom "Haveli No. 13 (Ground Floor), Hauz Khas Village Market, New Delhi - 110 016" to "Hemkunt Chambers, Flat No. 620, 89 Nehru Place, New Delhi - 110 019"

-Launch of Sterling Silver Jewellery.

2009

-Change of Registered Office from "Haveli No. 13 (Ground Floor), Hauz Khas Village Market, New Delhi - 110 016" to "Hemkunt Chambers, Flat No. 620, 89 Nehru Place, New Delhi - 110 019" with effect from September 01, 2009..

2010

- Silver Smith India Ltd has appointed Mr. Puneet Jain as an Independent Director w.e.f. December 28, 2009.

-Ms. Bhavna Sampath Kumar has been appointed as a ndependent Director of the Company.

-The Company has changed its name from Silver Smith India Ltd. to Orosil Smiths India Ltd.

-Orosil Smiths India has splits its face value from Rs 10/- to 5/-

- the name of the Company has been changed from "PRAKASH WOOLLEN MILLS LIMITED" to "PRAKASH WOOLLEN & SYNTHETIC MILLS LIMITED"

-Company has splits its face value from Rs. 5/- to Rs. 1/-.
