Rama Phosphates Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

The Company was incorporated on 3rd September, 1984 as a Private Limited Company and was subsequently convented into a Public Limited Company on 13th January, 1986.
It was promoted by NRI Investors Inc, Republic of Panama, wholly owned by Ramsinganis, the promoters of Rama Group of Companies.

The Company undertook to set up a project for the manufacture of 66,000 tpa of Single Super Phosphate (SSP) and 33000 tpa of Sulphuric Acid at Indore in Madhya Pradesh.

Production at the SSP Plant, commenced from 27th September 1987 and that of the Sulphuric acid plant from 23rd March, 1988.

The company entered into an agreement with M/s S S Engineering Consultants (India) Pvt Ltd, for technical know how inclusive of designs, details of engineering and site supervision etc.

-Mr. P. K. Srivastava has been appointed as the Nominee Director of Bank of India on the Board of the Company

2012

-Rama Phosphates Fertilizer Unit at Pune has won an award for Best Performing SSP Industry in the country consecutively for second year in a row

2013
- Rama Phosphates Ltd has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.50 per Equity share (5% on face value of Rs. 10/- shares).

2016
-Company had recently launched new product Boronated Single Super Phosphate as Powder and Granulated at Indore Unit with production capacity of 25,000 TPA subsequent to the greater market acceptance of product launched from the Company's Udaipur unit.

2017
-New product Launched Zincated Fortified Single Super Phosphate.

2019
-RPL was awarded the Fertilizer Association of IndiaÂs (FAI) Best Production Performance.
-Rama Phosphates Ltd launches its new product Zinc sulphate mono-hydrate.

2021
-Rama Phosphates Limited Won UCCI Excellence Award.
-The CompanyÂs Pune Unit has received a third-time prestigious FAI Best Production Performance award on 1st December 2021 in New Delhi.

2022
-Rama Phosphates acquires land and capital investment for new plant.
-Establishment Of Integrated New Single Super Phosphate (SSP) Fertilizer And Sulphuric Acid Plant In Maharas.
