Sensex ends lower 19K; SAIL, DLF up
SAIL, HCL Tech, DLF, Sesa Goa, who among the top gainers, were at 4.78 percent, 3.95 percent, 3.42 percent, 2.99 percent up respectively.
Ambuja Cements, Suzlon Energy, GAIL, who among the top losers, were at 2.64 percent, 2.45 percent, 2.34 percent, 2.21 percent down respectively.

Sensex loses 97 pts; Nifty 29
At 1:57 pm, the 30-share BSE Sensex fell 97 points to 18,994 and the 50-share NSE Nifty declined 29 points at 5,695. Broader indices too came off their highs.
Tata Coffee, LIC Housing Finance (ahead of results), Orchid Chemical, SBI, L&T and Reliance Industires were most active shares on exchanges.
ARSS Infra, Manappuram, SRF, Network 18 and HMT, who among midcap spaces, rallied 4.8-9.7 percent.

Nifty struggles below 6K; IT, bsnks down
At 12:21 pm, the 30-share BSE Sensex rose 23 points to 19,115 and the 50-share NSE Nifty was trading at 5,731, with gain of 6.75 points.
Metal, oil & gas, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group and telecom companies' shares were supporting the markets, along with ICICI Bank, HCL Tech, NTPC, M&M, ITC and Cipla.
However, IT majors, capital goods, cement and select auto companies' shares. SBI, HDFC Bank, Sun Pharma, JSPL, HDFC and PNB were witnessing selling pressure.

Markets begin on a quite note; Infy, TCS dip
NSE Nifty on Wednesday, Jan 19 began trading on a quite note as it hovered around its closing level of Jan 18.
At 10:29 am, the 50-share NSE Nifty was trading at 5,728, up 3.7 points and the 30-share BSE Sensex rose 23 points to 19,115.
Jaiprakash Associates, Sterlite, ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, Reliance Infrastructure, ITC, Sesa Goa, Sun Pharma, Dr Reddy's Labs and Reliance Industries, who among the frontliners, were on buyers' radar.
However, Infosys was down 1.6 percent. Bharti Airtel, Power Grid, TCS, SBI, HDFC and L&T were witnessing selling pressure.
