Reliance Infra commissions three new EHV
Anil Ambani-led Reliance Infrastructure has set up three new 220kV Extra High Voltage (EHV) substations at Goregaon, Gorai and Saki in Mumbai. The step was taken to address the growing demand for electricity in the city. It would help in bolstering Mumbai"s transmission grid.

As was said by the company"s CEO and Whole-Time Director, Lalit Jalan, the aim is to develop a world-class transmission network for Mumbai to cope-up with the increasing demand for infrastructure. Efforts would be employed in the best possible manner to ensure timely additions of capacity, and help in all-round development of the city.

The company already has three EHV substations at Ghodbunder, Aarey Colony and Versova in Mumbai, and the addition of three more makes it to six.
