Amul hikes milk prices by Rs 2/litre
Based on the rise in the input costs, dairy major Amul has increased the prices by Rs. 2 per liter across its different varieties of milk in the national capital and surrounding areas.

However, Mother Dairy, which operates through a number of outlets in the Delhi and NCR region and has grip over the milk market, has not increased its milk prices.

After the recent hike in the prices by the Anand (Gujarat) based Amul, now 'Amul Gold' will cost Rs. 36 a litre from Rs. 34 per litre. 'Amul Taaza' will be priced at Rs. 28 a litre from Rs. 26 a litre.

In the 'Slim an Trim' variety the prices have increased marginally by 50 paise at Rs. 12 for 500 ml from the previous cost of Rs. 11.50. However, no price revision has been made in the 200 ml pack, which will continue to cost Rs. 5.

The revised prices of different varieties of milk have been published in newspaper as advertisements.
