As the company has changed its financial year from December 1-November 30 to April 1-March 31 the yearly results will comprise of 16 months (i.e. since November 2009) and quarterly result is for four months ending March 31, 2011 (i.e. since November 2010).

Due to this it is not feasible to do the Quarterly and Annual comparisons. Wyeth Ltd. announced its audited financial results for the four months ending March 31, 2011 on Tuesday. The company"s net profit after tax for the period stood at Rs. 474.4 million.

Considering the sixteen month period i.e. from December - March 2011, the value of the net profit after tax stood at Rs. 1,652.9 million.

While, the net sales of the company for the four months ending March 31, 2011 stood at Rs. 1,676.7 million. Considering the sixteen month period i.e. from December - March 2011, the net sales was reported at Rs. 6,364.8 million.

Moreover, the EPS of the company during the sixteen months i.e. from December - March 2011, stood at Rs. 72.75 which was Rs. 20.88 for the four months ending March 2011.

On the segment front, contribution in terms of revenue from pharmaceuticals for four months ending March 2011 was Rs. 1,586.3 million, in comparison to Rs. 5,831.5 million for the sixteen months ending March 2011, whereas others contribution stood at Rs. 106.4 million in comparison to Rs. 565.5 million.
