Dabur enters mint candy segment through Hajmola
FMCG player Dabur is expanding its flagship digestive 'Hajmola' brand into the mint candy segment, which is estimated to have a market of Rs. 720 crore in the country. The mint candy segment includes boiled mint candies, medicated mints like lozenges and mint rolls.

The company will foray into the mint candy segment with the launch of Hajmola Mint Masti, which will cost 50 paise per candy. This is a part of company"s strategy to expand in the confectionery category.

Dabur India, DGM (Marketing) Digestives, Rajeev John, reported that it was a strategic decision undertaken by the company to foray into the mint candy segment with product having USP of fresh breath & digestion.

At 03:24 PM, on BSE, shares of the company were trading at Rs. 102.75, up by 0.64 per cent against the previous close of Rs. 102.10. The shares of the company reached the day's high at Rs. 103.20 and day's low at Rs. 100.60.
