Mirc Electronics Q4 net up 87% at Rs 9.7 crore
Mirc electronics that sells popular brand 'Onida" published their annual report. The net profit for the quarter ending March 2011 is reported at Rs. 9.71 crore against Rs. 5.19 crore reported last fiscal, increase of 87%.

For the quarter ending March 2011, the net sales increased by 46% to Rs. 574 crore from Rs. 394 crore corresponding to the same period last fiscal.

The operating expenses increased by 47% to Rs. 553.63 crore for the quarter ending March 2011 compared to Rs. 378 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal.

Material cost and employee expenses increased by 25% and 21% respectively during the Q4, FY"11 compared to same period last fiscal.

For the 12 months period ending March 2011, the net sales stood at Rs. 1939.7 crore and increased by 27% compared to the same period last fiscal as reported at Rs. 1526.7 crore.

Material cost and employee cost for year 2011 increased by 20% and 22% respectively at Rs. 655.7 crore and Rs. 92.25 crore respectively compared to the same period last fiscal.

Consolidated net profit for fiscal year 2010-11 stood at Rs. 29 crore from Rs. 20 crore, increase of 46%.
