Apollo Tyres Q4 net dips 27% to Rs 190 crore
Apollo tyres, world"s 15th largest tyre manufacturer, has reported 27% dip in the consolidated net profit to Rs. 192.3 crore for the quarter ending March 2011 from Rs. 263 crore for the same period last fiscal.

A consolidated net sale is reported to stand at Rs. 2729.5 crore for Q4, FY"11, increase of almost 27% from Rs. 2143 crore during Q4, FY"10.

Consumption of raw material increased by 42% from Rs. 1143.2 crore for Q4, FY"10 to Rs. 1621.6 crore for Q4, FY"11.

Interest amount paid for the quarter ending March 2011 stood at Rs. 54.2 crore compared to Rs. 12.5 crore paid during the same period last fiscal.

For last fiscal, the net profit included realisation from exceptional items.
