Copper rises on global cues
On Saturday, as a result of the higher industrial demand in the midst of a steady trend in the overseas markets, the prices of copper wire scrap, copper wire bar and copper mixed scrap was in demand and rose by Rs 2 each to Rs 507, Rs 530 and Rs 491 per kg, respectively.

The quotations per kg are tin ingot which stood at Rs 845, zinc ingot at Rs 135.50, nickel plate (4x4) at Rs 1,070-1,072 and gun metal scrap stood at Rs 226.

The bell metal scrap stood at Rs 228, copper wire scrap at Rs 507, copper wire bar at Rs 530, copper mixed scrap at Rs 491, Utensil scrap at Rs 224 and Chadripital stood at Rs 175.

Similarly, the lead ingot stood at Rs 140, lead imported at Rs 142, aluminium ingots at Rs 109, sheet cutting at Rs 110, aluminium wire scrap at Rs 110 and aluminium utensils scrap stood at Rs 107.
