Hero Honda results Q1 FY 2011: Net profit increase by 13.46% YoY
Where as expenditure increased by 6.68% to Rs 4865 crore in the same period. And its PAT as per BSE data was 557.89 crore and it had increased by 11.22% on a quarter-on-quarter basis. If compared on a year-on-year basis the growth registered by the company was at 13.46%.
Its quarterly sales stand at 1529577 units registering a growth of 24%. According to the company's press release this is the highest unit sales for the company in any quarter.
The two-wheeler giant recorded a turnover of Rs 5683.33 crore, registering a growth of 32% over the corresponding quarter of last year.
Its profit after tax was at Rs 557.89 crores and the operating margin for the quarter was 10.17% in the quarter. The company's PAT in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal was Rs 491.69 crores.
On the occasion Dr Brikmohan Lall, Chairman, Hero Honda said, "There is a growth culture engraved in the foundations of Hero Honda and we are excited that the company is taking new strides to strengthen this. And all our stakeholders are playing a constructive role in our growth story be it our customers, suppliers, dealers or our employees and other associates."
