Peerless Mutual Fund has launched a new fund offer named as Peerless Equity Fund on September 7, 2011. It"s an open-ended debt scheme.During the New Fund Offer (NFO) the scheme will offer units at Rs 10 per unit.

Investment objective:
The primary investment objective of the scheme is to generate long term capital appreciation by investing in an actively managed portfolio predominantly consisting of Equity & equity related securities diversified over various sectors.

The scheme will allocate 80% to 100% of assets in equity & equity related instruments with medium to high risk profile. On the other side it would allocate upto 20% of assets in debt & money market instruments with low to medium risk profile.

The fund seeks to collect a minimum subscription (minimum target) amount of Rs 1 crore under the scheme during the NFO period.

NFO Closes: September 21, 2011
NFO Price: Rs.10 per unit
Options: Growth and Dividend (Payout and Re-investment)
Minimum Application Amount: Rs 1,000 per application and additional Re 1, thereafter
Exit Load: 1% if exited before 1 year
Benchmark: S&P CNX Nifty
Fund Manager: Mr. Kaushik Dani (for Equity) & Mr. Ganti N Murthy (for Debt)
