Rupee falls against euro
The Indian rupee fell against euro on Thursday as a result of the weak domestic equity market and strong euro. Rupee futures for November 2011 contract fell as much as 0.11 paise at Rs. 68.6675 per euro on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at 12.14pm.

At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), EURUSD future for December 2011 contract traded at US$1.3509 per euro (USD appreciated by 0.01 per cent against EUR) and GBPUSD future for December 2011 contract traded at US$1.5753 per pound (USD appreciated by 0.10 per cent against GBP) at 12.19 PM today.

S&P CNX NIFTY, at NSE, traded at 5,009.30, down by 0.42 per cent, after opening at 5,027.10 against the previous closing of 5,030.45. It touched the intra-day low of 4,992.20 till the trading. (At 12.07 AM today).

At NSE, EURINR for November 2011 contract traded at Rs. 68.6675 per euro, rupee depreciated 0.11 paise against euro, after opening at Rs. 68.6300 against the previous closing price of Rs. 68.5550. Rupee fell to Rs. 68.4525 with a business volume of 12580 lots till the trading (At 12.14 PM today).
