Market red trend continues; Sensex loses 425 pts at closing

Mumbai, Nov 21: Following huge sell-off by the foreign investors coupled with rising concerns over US and eurozone debt crisis, BSE Sensex on Monday, Nov 21 shed almost 425 points at closing.
According to market experts, Sensex closed at one and half month lows which is the biggest fall since May 3, 2011. Led by the fall in 28 stocks, the index dropped 425.41 points or 2.60 percent.
ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, BHEL and Sterlite Industries, who among the largecaps, crashed 5 percent each, while Infosys, Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, HDFC, SBI, TCS, Bharti and ONGC, who among the heavyweights, were 2-3 percent down.
