Rupee rises against US dollar as eurozone fears comes down
The Indian rupee rose against US dollar on Monday as risk appetite improved on hopes funding woes for euro zone economies would ease soon. Rupee future for November 2011 contract rose as much as 0.31 paise to Rs. 51.9925 per dollar on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at 11.28am.

At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), EURUSD future for December 2011 contract traded at US$1.3301 per euro (USD depreciated by 0.46 per cent against EUR) and GBPUSD future for December 2011 contract traded at US$1.5501 per pound (USD depreciated by 0.44 per cent against GBP) at 11.37 AM today.

S&P CNX NIFTY, at NSE, traded at 4,800.10, up by 1.19 per cent, after opening at 4,769.30 against the previous closing of 4,710.05. It touched the intra-day high of 4,813.30 till the trading. (At 11.28 AM today).

At NSE, USDINR for November 2011 contract traded at Rs. 51.9925 per dollar, rupee appreciated by 0.31 paise, after opening at Rs. 52.0800 against the previous closing price of Rs.52.3075. It rose to Rs. 52.1475 per dollar with a business volume of 722049 lots till the trading. (At 11.28 AM today).
