Bharti Airtel slips 4%
Shares of India's largest mobile service provider, Bharti Airtel, slipped 4 per cent on Bombay Stock Exchange after the reports suggested that telecom regulator, TRAI is likely to take action against the company for violating the mobile number portability (MNP) guidelines.

Jerking the knees, shares of Bharti Airtel, slipped as much as 4.3 per cent on bourses, while at 10:10 AM, it quoted at Rs 334.90 a piece, down 4 per cent from previous close on BSE.

Reports have indicated that TRAI had earlier also issued a showcase notice to Bharti AIrtel for violations of MNP norms and despite that company was found rejecting MNP requests from subscribers.

Also few days back, minister of State for Communications and IT, Milind Deora said in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha that Bharti Airtel faces 893 complaints, while Vodafone and Idea Cellular had 792 and 313 complaints, respectively.
