Rail stocks on the slow track ahead of Railway budget
Seems like market operators are not expecting too much from the Railway Budget, unlike last year when shares of railway suppliers flared up before the Railway Budget. Titagarh Wagons was down Rs 2.70 at Rs 431, while Kalindee Rail Nirman was trading Rs 432.15, down Rs 5.00. Shares of Texmaco were almost trading flat at 2.42 PM IST.
Marketmen are not expecting anything phenomenal in this year's Railway Budget considering the precarious finances of the Railways.
Most of them preferred the Lalu Prasad Yadav regime when the finances of the Railways was in better order.
The Railway Budget is to be present by Railway Minister, Dinesh Trivedi on March 14, 2012.
