RCOM plans to list its subsidiary in Singapore

Reliance Communications (RCom) has announced that it is evaluating a potential initial public offering (IPO) and listing in Singapore of its subsea telecommunications infrastructure network business, through a Singapore business trust.

Reliance communications is India's foremost and truly integrated telecommunications service provider. The company with a customer base of over 158 million including over 2.5 million individual overseas retail customers, ranks among the top 4 telecom companies in the world by number of customers in a single country.

Reliance Communication founded by the late Shri Dhirubai Ambani.

The reliance group currently has net worth in excess of Rs 89,000 crore , cash flows of Rs 10,900 crore, net profit of Rs 3,600 crore.

Reliance communication owns and operates the world's largest next generation IP enabled connectivity infrastructure.

The shares of the company on BSE were trading at Rs 83.50 up 0.72% at 11.25 pm IST.
