Markets recover amid mixed global cues
Markets reversed yesterday's losses with the Sensex opening higher by more than 100 points on Thursday amid mixed global cues.

Asian stocks on Thursday were on a rollercoaster ride swinging between gains and losses on concerns over a political impasse in Greece, which continued to weigh on market sentiments. The Nikkei 225 was down by 0.19%, while the Hang Seng lost 1.02%, while the Shanghai Composite was down 0.18%.

At 9.40 am IST, the Sensex was trading at 16638.90 points, down 159.33 points and the Nifty was at 5027.20 points, down 51.75 points.

All the sectors on the BSE were trading in the green. Consumer Goods, Auto, Realty and Metal leading the rally.

While on the losing side, the stocks that failed to lure investors in the morning trade were the Ranbaxy Laboratories (1.54)% and Infosys (0.48%)

Among the stocks that gained today in early trade were IDFC, Relaince Infra, Axis Bank, Jaiprakash Associates.
