Wipro Technologies, the leading provider of software services, said that it has been appointed as a strategic partner by Australia's MMG, to deliver its "Integrated Business Management" programme over three years.
MMG, the mid-tier global resource company, is one of the world's largest producers of zinc, producing copper, lead, gold and silver as well.
MMG, as a part of the integrated business management programme, plans to adopt a common operating platform across all assets to derive value in current and future operations.
Wipro will work with MMG to effectively support its future growth and profitability by transforming its operations, standardizing and simplifying its business processes and implementing a new SAP platform.

Wipro's shares were trading at Rs 393.80, down 0.77 per cent on the BSE as of 10:30 hours.
