Gold futures trade flat, after a peak on Tuesday

Gold futures were seen trading flat on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Gold for August delivery was trading at Rs 30,219 per 10 grams.
Similarly, the metal for October contract delivery was at Rs 30,520 per 10 grams at 2.40 pm IST.
India gold futures felt the pressure due to heaving selling activity of the yellow metal. However, international spot gold was seen trading at US$1,618 an ounce. Gold surged higher on Wednesday on speculation of another round of monetary easing to boost the global economy.
On Tuesday gold futures hit a record high domestically. Today, domestic gold with 9.9 and 99.5% purity was seen at Rs 30,600and Rs 30,400 per 10 grams, respectively.
Spot gold on MCX was seen at Rs 30,118 per 10 grams and silver was seen at Rs 54,250 per kgs.
