The company's net income rose by 26.7% to Rs 3,732 crore. Its gross NPA stood at 0.91% against 0.97%, quarter-on-quarter (Q-o-Q). While, net NPA remained unchanged at 0.2%, QoQ.
Its Capital Adequacy Ratio stood at 17% against 15.5%, QoQ.
The company's total income rose to Rs 9,869 crore as against Rs 7,929 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
HDFC Bank Q1 FY13 had also met the street expectation with increase of 30% to Rs 1,417 crores.
The shares of the company was seen trading higher by 1.02% to Rs 630 on BSE at 2.20 pm IST. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 635.
