HCL outperforms again; PAT surges 3.6%
The company's revenue stood at Rs 6,091 crores, up by 31% y-o-y and 2.9% q-o-q. The company announced the interim dividend Rs 2 per share, 39th consecutive quarter of dividend payout.
The company's total head count stood at 85,335. The growth in the volume was up by 4.5% sequentially at company level.
Growth witnessed across key Service Offerings led by Infrastructure Services stood at 10.3%, BPO Services at 4.8% and Custom Application Services at 1.6%
Broad based growth across Verticals led by Healthcare at 14.6%, Retail & CPG at 10.2%, Financial Services at 3.6% and Media Publishing & Entertainment at 7.3%
Commenting on the result Vineet Nayar, Vice Chairman & CEO said "A 31% YoY growth in revenues and a 78% growth in net income this quarter reiterates the fact that robust revenue growth can be achieved profitably. Increased wins in Fortune 500 accounts have resulted in Americas and Europe geographies growing at 34% and 37% YoY respectively".
The shares of the company was seen trading higher by 2.59% to Rs 599.40 on BSE at 9.20 am IST.
