HDFC Q2 net profit up 19% to Rs 1,151 crore
Earlier, the company had posted net profit of Rs 970.70 crore for the last quarter of the previous year.
The company's total income on standalone basis rose to Rs 5,277.2 crore during the quarter against Rs 4,169.14 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The total assets of HDFC increased by 20% to Rs 1,80,637 crore, as against Rs 1,50,045 crore at the end of second quarter of last fiscal.
Gross non-performing loans declined to 0.77% of the loan portfolio, from 0.82% of the corresponding quarter last year.
The housing finance major's capital adequacy ratio stood at 16.7% as against the minimum requirement of 12%.
The shares of the company closed at Rs 750, lower by 0.21% on BSE.
