Bharti PAT at Rs 721 crores; meets expectations
India's largest telecom operator, Bharti Airtel has reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 721 crore, which was largely in line with expectations.
The sales for the second quarter came in at Rs 20,273 crore, which was also better than expected. The company's consolidated EBITDA margin stood at 39.3%.
Shares of Bharti Airtel gained more than 1% on the Bombay Stock Exchange and was trading at Rs 276 at 9.40 am IST.
