MindTree hits 52-week high as investor cheer results
The stock was last quoted at Rs 782 on the BSE, after hitting a 52-week high of Rs 792.70 in intra day trade.
MindTree, a global information technology solutions company reported a revenue of Rs 590.1 crores, for the quarter ending Dec 31, 2012, showing a growth of 2.5% q-o-q.
Net profit during the period has come in at Rs 98.8 crore, representing a growth of 36.8% q-o-q. "Our revenue growth has been satisfactory despite a seasonally weak quarter. We are very pleased that our efforts to reposition and strengthen our business continue to yield good results, as can be seen in our strong profitability improvements. Our expertise led positioning is helping us develop deeper customer relationships and deliver transformative changes for existing and new customers, " said Krishnakumar Natarajan, CEO & Managing Director, Mindtree Limited.
MindTree had 245 active customers as of December 31, 2012, with the $5 million customers increasing by 4 to 21; $10 million customers increased by 1 to 9.
