Firstcall Research is bullish on Cholamandalam  and has recommended buy rating on the stock with a target of Rs 307 in its January 26, 2013 research report.

"The group set up Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Ltd (CIFCL) incorporated in 1978 with the primary objective of offering asset finance through leasing and hire purchase to corporate and then to retail customers.

HDFC Bank:

Sudarshan Sukhani, advises traders to go short on HDFC Bank  or HDFC .

Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, "Individual names there are shorting opportunities in the large private sector banks, some of them HDFC Bank, the housing finance company HDFC as well as now I think Axis Bank."

Sun TV Network:

KRChoksey has recommended hold rating on Sun TV Network  with a target of Rs 460, in its January 25, 2013 research report.

"Sun TV's Q3FY13 result was in line with our expectation. Net sales stood at Rs 486crs, a healthy growth of 14.3% YoY primarily driven by 20% YoY increase in advertising revenue. EBITDA for the quarter was Rs 376crs, increased by 10.3% YoY. EBITDA margin declined by 270bps to 27.5% as programming cost increased. At net profit level, the company reported Rs 190crs, growth of 13.1% YoY led by lower depreciation.

Karnataka Bank:

Firstcall Research is bullish on Karnataka Bank  and has recommended buy rating on the stock with a target of Rs 181 in its January 26, 2013 research report.

"Karnataka Bank Limited, a leading 'A' Class Scheduled Commercial Bank in India, was incorporated on February 18th, 1924 at Mangalore, a coastal town of Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka State. The bank took shape in the aftermath of patriotic zeal that engulfed the nation during the freedom movement of 20th Century India. Over the years the Bank grew with the merger of Sringeri Sharada Bank Ltd., Chitradurga Bank Ltd. and Bank of Karnataka.
