Govt to take action after CBI submits report on Italian chopper deal: Antony
He said that the CBI has been asked to give an early report on its probe into the alleged kickbacks in the AgustaWestland helicopter deal.
He said that strongest action will be taken against those found guilty once they get the preliminary inquiry report from the CBI.
"I have no information on former Air Chief S.P. Tyagi,'' Antony said on being asked about his alleged role in the VVIP chopper deal.
The Minister said that after the CBI report, the Government will take serious action that may include cancelling the deal.
"We don't want to jump the gun. We can get our money back even at this stage,'' Antony said on the Rs 3,600-crore deal.
