Stock tips for Feb 14, 2013
Here are a few stock ideas from leading brokerage houses in the country.

ONGC:

Angel Broking is bullish on Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and has recommended buy rating on the stock with a target of Rs 357 in its February 11, 2013 research report.

"For 3QFY2013, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC)'s top-line and profitability were higher than our estimates. We maintain our Buy rating on the stock. The company's top-line increased by 15.8percent yoy to Rs20,987cr (above our expectation of Rs19,294cr). The net realization for crude oil increased by 6.7percent yoy to US$47.9/bbl and gas realizations increased 10.5percent yoy to 8.4/scm. Crude oil sales volumes grew 7.0percent yoy to 6mn tonne."

Hexaware Tech:

Motilal Oswal is bullish on Hexaware Tech and has recommended buy rating on the stock with a target of Rs 120 in its February 12, 2013 research report.

"Hexaware's 4QCY12 results were in line with our estimates. Revenues were USD92m (v/s est of USD92.4m), down 0.4percent QoQ due to a project cancellation in top client. EBIT margin declined 480bp QoQ to 15.1percent (v/s est of 430bp QoQ decline). PAT was at INR637m, adjusting for the tax write-back (in-line). For CY13, company guided for "double digit" USD revenue growth. This still implies a 4percent CQGR over 2Q-4Q, considering 1Q revenues at the midpoint of USD94-95m guided band (1.7-2.8percent QoQ). On the back of cost levers, it guided for 150-200bp QoQ recovery in margins in 1QCY13. HEXW cited recovery in a top account despite a blip in 4Q (down 21.3percent QoQ to USD10.8m)."

Jaypee Infratech:

Motilal Oswal is bullish on Jaypee Infratech and has recommended buy rating on the stock with a target of Rs 65 in its February 12, 2013 research report.

"JPIN's 3QFY13 PAT of INR1.6b (-61percent YoY, -14percent QoQ) was below our estimate of INR1.8b. This was primarily on account of (a) lower operating margin and (b) higher-than-estimated interest expense from the Yamuna expressway. Revenues of INR9.3b (+3.4percent YoY, +32percent QoQ) beat our estimate of INR8.2b. A sequentially better revenue booking pertains to (a) fresh contribution from pre-sales at Parcel 3 and (b) contribution from Yamuna Expressway toll for the full quarter."

Wockhardt:

SP Tulsian, sptulsian.com advises traders to sell Wockhardt around Rs 1850.

Tulsian told CNBC-TV18, "Wockhardt having recommended at Rs 300 obviously one feel that the stock has really run so much. Wockhardt results expectation I don't think that there is any logic of seeing it on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. One has to see it on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis and you won't see that kind of increase coming in on that account. But if I need to take a call probably for whole of FY13, I am expecting the earning per share (EPS) to be close to about Rs 155 or so, maybe Rs 2 plus or minus. And if you take in that context share is still ruling at a price-earning (PE) multiple of about 12."

ACC:

Ventura has recommended hold rating on ACC, in its February 12, 2013 research report.

"ACC reported cement revenue growth 6percent on yearly basis to Rs 2640 crore. Growth in cement revenue was supported by realization growth. Cement volume were flat on a yearly basis, which increased by 10percent on QoQ to 5.94 mnt. Absence of pick up in infrastructure and real estate activities across the country has been the prime reason for muted growth in cement volume. However, we expect volume to pick up in the coming quarters given Jan-June period is always considered a busy season for the construction industry and also upcoming assembly and general elections will drive demand growth. During Q4CY12, operating performance was lower primarily due to significant spike in raw material and freight costs."
