HUL shares hit lifetime high as Unilever raises stake

Shares in Hindustan Unilever jumped to a lifetime high of Rs 632, a day after Hindustan Unilever increased its stake in the company to 67 per cent.

The stock was last trading at rs 609, after jumping almost 6 per cent in trade.

Shareholders of Hindustan Unilever tendered 31.97 crore shares to the offer, taking Unilever's holding in the company to 67 per cent.

Hindustan Unilever is India's largest fast moving consumer goods company, with majority holding held by the Unilever.
