Sensex ends flat; L&T crashes on poor numbers
The Sensex ended the day higher by 4 points (provisional), while the Nifty ended the day higher by 2.60 points. L&T ended the day 7 per cent lower, while other infra stocks like Bhel, Siemens also fell after L&T's poor numbers.
Reliance Industries which reported numbers on Friday after markets also ended down by around 2 per cent after markets were disappointed with the numbers.
Top Nifty gainers in trade today were HDFC, Bank of Baroda, Indusind Bank and Mahindra and Mahindra.
