RBI forms committee to aid financial inclusion: Media Report
The Reserve Bank of India has unveiled a new committee of 13 members headed by Nachiket Mor, member on the RBI's Central Board of Directors to frame for Comprehensive Financial Services for Small Businesses and Low-Income Households, said the media report.

The 'Committee on Comprehensive Financial Services for Small Businesses and Low-Income Households' has been tasked to develop a comprehensive monitoring framework to track the progress of financial inclusion and deepening efforts on a nationwide basis, RBI said in media.

The committee has been formed including former Citibank CEO Vikram Pandit, Axis Bank chief Shikha Sharma, Prakash Bakshi Chairman, Nabard, Sunil Kaushal ,CEO, Standard Chartered Bank India, S. S. Mundra ,CMD, Bank of Baroda among others.

Moreover, RBI's Executive Director, Karuppasamy and Deepali Pant Joshi, will be the expert observers, added the media report. Besides, secretarial support to the panel will be provided by the Rural Planning and Credit Department (RPCD) of the RBI.
