Among the major Tata firms, overseas investors raised their stake in IT major TCS from 15.67 per cent to 16.09 per cent during the three-month period ended September 30.
Besides, in Tata Motors the FII holding went up to 26.73 per cent from 26.59 pe rcent, while the same in Tata Steel rose to 13.56 per cent from 13.2 per cent and in Tata Power the stake jumped to 25.05 per cent from 24.78 per cent, said PTI report.
The other companies of the salt-to-software conglomerate where the FII holding went up include Tata Chemicals, Tata Communications, Tata Elxsi Ltd, Trent, Indian Hotels Company Ltd, Tata Global Beverages, Rallis India and Titan Industries.
Meanwhile, the firms where foreign investors slashed their holding include Tata Metaliks, Tata Sponge Iron and Voltas, said the report.
