India to sell Rs 15,000 cr of govt bonds on Dec 27: RBI
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Monday said it will auction Rs 15,000 crore of government bonds on December 27, 2013.

The government will sell Rs 3,000 crore of 7.28% 2019 bonds, Rs 7,000 crore of 8.83% 2023, Rs 2,000 crore of 8.32% 2032 bonds and Rs 3,000 crore of 8.30% 2042 bonds, the RBI said.

The auctions will be conducted using uniform price method. Up to 5 per cent of the notified amount of the sale of the stocks will be allotted to eligible individuals and Institutions as per the Scheme for Non-Competitive Bidding Facility in the Auction of Government Securities.

The non-competitive bids should be submitted between 10.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. and the competitive bids should be submitted between 10.30 a.m. and 12.00 noon. The result of the auctions will be announced on December 27, 2013.
