TCS to set up world's largest corporate learning center in Thiruvananthapuram

India's biggest software exporter Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Monday said it will set up world's largest corporate learning and development centre with a total capacity to train 15,000 professionals at one time and 50,000 professionals annually.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has laid the foundation stone for the project which is aimed at boosting local economy in the region.
Commenting on the development, TCS' CEO and MD, N. Chandrasekaran said, "TCS has been present in Thiruvananthapuram since 1997 and since then it has been the hub of our global learning and development efforts."
