Edelweiss Financial gains nearly 2% on FII limit recast

Shares of Edelweiss Financial Services rose nearly 2 per cent in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) hiked the FII limit in these stocks. The central bank has allowed Edelweiss Financial Services to increase its FII limit to 28 per cent.
The shares of company rose as much as 1.16 per cent to trade at Rs 30.50 a piece on the BSE.
In a similar fashion, shares of the company rose 1.32 per cent to Rs 30.60 a piece on National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 22,406.69, down 102.38 points or 0.45 per cent at 10:13 hours.
