Air India will use the new Dreamliners to start flights to new destinations such as Moscow, Rome and Milan.Two of these airplanes are expected to be received by Air India next month while Air India expects three more of such planes, which will be delivered by US aero plane manufacturing major Boeing, in the months of June, August and November.
Air India has already introduced 13 Boeing 787 Dreamliners into its operations.The addition to its Boeing 787 Dreamliners fleet will help Air India to expand the national carrier's operations into new cities such as Moscow, Rome and Milan, bolstering its revenue outlook.
The company is also planning to rejig its A-321 aircraft by chopping down the number of Business Class seats to 12 from 20 and increase the capacity of Economy seating. The national carrier has already reconfigured four A-320s and six A-321s, the reports said.
