SpiceJet crashes over 6% on record loss in FY'14

Shares of low cost carrier SpiceJet plunged over 6 per cent on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after company reported its highest ever annual loss of Rs 1,003.2 crore in the financial year 2013-14.

The carrier has posted record loss of Rs 1,003.2 crore in the financial year 2013-14 up five times from Rs 191 crore in the previous fiscal.

Reacting to earnings, shares of company declined as much as 6.35 per cent and touched 52-week high to trade at Rs 14.00 a piece on the BSE.

Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 24,291.83, up 170.09 points or 0.71 per cent at 10:00 hours.
