RCom falls over 2% after launching share sale

Shares of Reliance Communication fell over 2 per cent in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after the company said on Tuesday it is launching a share sale to institutional investors as it looks to reduce debt.

The shares of company fell as much as 2.61 per cent to trade at Rs 147.40 a piece on the BSE.

In a similar fashion, shares of the company fell 2.58 per cent to Rs 147.45 a piece on National Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 25,209.09, down 7.29 points or 0.03 per cent at 10.59 hours.
