Nestle, SUN TV Shares Recover After Monday's Carnage
Shares in SUN TV and Nestle recovered lost ground after the huge slide seen in both the stocks on Monday.
SUN TV which was down a huge 25 per cent on Monday following reports that the Home Ministry had struck down an Information and Broadcasting Ministry's proposal for giving security clearance to 33 television channels of Kalanithi Maran-promoted Sun TV Network, gained 5 per cent.
The stock was last trading higher by Rs 289.55, up almost 5 per cent over Monday's close, despite weakish trend in the markets.
Nestle was also trading higher following reports that the Singapore authorities have said that the Nestle Maggi, which is made in India is safe to consume.
Dealers say that there was also some short covering in both the stocks which had fallen sharply in the last few trading sessions.
