Shares in India Cements fell after Chennai Super Kings was suspended for 2 years, after Justice Lodha committee recommended the suspension of Chennai Super Kings for two years from IPL. India Cements owns the Chennai Super Kings.
The stock was last trading at Rs 90, down 5 per cent.
The Supreme Court appointed panel headed by former Justice Lodha was given the task to announce the quantum of punishment on the franchises Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, whose owners were said to be involved in betting.
